Randomly found this footage today, had forgotten about it/had no idea I'd ever see it again.

Quote:Description:

1. All clips 2007-2008

2. Newfoundland Canada has been my favorite place in the world since 1999

3. I was like totally in love with Cassandra just in case that wasn't a hundred million billion percent obvious

4. At 2:18 my friend Sam who I didn't expect to see randomly pulls up

5. This material from 2008 is the oldest known surviving footage of me because all other footage including the VHS tape of my 1990 birth died in a fire and yes that pisses me off

I'm not surprised. Not sure why you're harping on your sexual orientation like it's supposed to matter to us that you're gay. Straight, gay, whatever, it doesn't change the way we feel about you. Get over it.

People end up persecuting themselves over this kind of shit more than anyone else is persecuting them, because they're paranoid or something... stop.

Newfies make a good everything.

I went down to the water one time with a local Newfie kid and he caught a plastic grocery store bag full of capelin, then he took them home and his mom cooked some of them for us.

How do your parents feel about you being out in the wild all alone?

They’re supportive...

Always have been, about everything, not just the traveling.

There’s some worry that is always gonna be there but that is just natural.

They know I’m not normal LMFAO. So I think they factor that in when they consider what I’m doing.

How's the yurt construction coming, Flo? I read an Instructable about building yurts today. I'm torn between building a yurt and buying a "tiny house" trailer like my friend's at this point. The builders seem not to have put much thought into maximizing the interior space, which is kind of critical when building a tiny house. I want to see if they'll let me pick my own fixtures and install them for me.

Hi there babe.

Well I am gonna be continuing my outdoor living test period soon, the coming week should present some clear days and decent temperatures. Before I actually build anything I want to test living outdoors in a more temporary structure.

To be honest...

Long term, I would buy a shed, make sure it gets a metal roof, and deck out that small space. It may be a shed, but that doesn't mean it can't be surprisingly nice inside. And especially for just one person, a small amount of space is fine. Hey... if you can stand up in it, you're living large.

There are actually people who live in sheds in this neighborhood. There are no building codes in this county.

I'm going to need something a bit larger to hold of all of my electronics. I have a full recording studio, which will require some acoustic treatment on the walls and ceiling. That's the main reason I'm leaning more towards a trailer than a yurt. There's really no good way to keep out noise with canvas walls.

If I go with a yurt, I'd have to build a shed or get a storage container for the studio. The storage container would bring its own set of costly problems, as it would basically be an oven in the deep South without extensive treatment.

Sheds are the original (modern day) tiny house...

There's no need to reinvent the wheel...

All the uppity "tiny houses" they're offering for sale these days are gimmicks.

You get your shed, and then you work on making it as nice as possible over time.

Metal roof because you never wanna have any leaks or ever have to deal with changing that motherfucker.
