I just made THE MOST bitchin' cream of broccoli soup ever in existence...
I call it the "Cheese Tease" because it LOOKS like there's cheese, it TASTES like there's cheese (this effect is achieved thanks to turmeric/butter/milk) but there's no cheese.

I feel that it's healthier with no cheese... and besides, dried cheese is hard to clean off. That's not to say I never use it though. And of course I think this dish could be topped with cheese and it would be great, but that's up to the individual.

I make cream of broccoli soup A LOT lol, but I always add a little cheddar cheese! Maybe I'll try this and see if I can live without it.
