I personally don't think it even matters what implants are made out of. But don't get me wrong, of course toxic material is OBVIOUSLY a huge part of it, of course that's the most common sense issue here. But I think the problem in general is the foreign objects in the body, regardless of their material, and the positioning of these objects re: the processes which take place in that part of the body.
In short, large foreign objects in the body: bad idea.
I would at this point chastise humanity for its unrelenting idiocy and moronic superficiality, but observing the effects caused by this poisoning/illness these people have gone through is just too sad, so I'll refrain.
