**whispers** That's what I was goin' for ^ up there.

I find all this offendedness racist, sexist, and privileged
I find it triggers my offensophobia...
An unfortunate condition where my phobia of feeling offended or causing offense makes me behave in an extreme and wildly offensive nature in fits similar to Tourette's syndrome, thus causing a domino effect of being offended, offensive, and triggering my own offense, ad infinitum.
there was a change in language about this. time was a fellow would state, `I take offense to that!`
nowadays it's, `I am offended by this!` or `That is offensive!`
the former is a personal take - an opinion. a person speaking for themselves. it's not just necessarily what was said, but how it was said.
the latter is a state of being, with a permanent context. like the difference in spanish between estar and ser - both mean [i/you/we] are but estar is temporary. doesn't matter how it was said, or even if it was directed at an individual. it's not longer about individuals, it's about everyone.
it coincides with the apparent rise of communist type shit alongside the apparent downturn in personal liberty.
Thats a good read on it genba ...its like everybody is projecting and wants you suffering along with them
Pretty much a generation of sissified brats. I really want a bright red jumpsuit.
