So first of all... I think Trump is a genius and basically everything he does is brilliant. Including this.

But I will say... I think there's meaning to this on a much deeper level.

I mean, it's sooo American. Like that is THE MOST American feasting table I've ever seen.

How did they keep all the food warm? It seems like a photo op/sensationalism story firstly, and an attempt to feed people secondarily.

It does remind me of something though...

All those athlete dudes would have to slam it hard at the gym after eating all that fast food, because you KNOW they never actually eat that kinda stuff.

But if they want us to think they do...

And we know they use sports team as modern day "troops" in the sociopolitical landscape, then what message are they trying to send with this?
I mean don't get me wrong, I'd binge hard on the Fish Fillet tray... but.

I'm just saying... this means something.

They know it was basically a photo op sensationalism piece.

ABL seems to think they do eat this sorta stuff, I'll trust his judgement on it.

I think the candlelit fast food feasting table was brilliant.

I just think there's a deeper meaning.
one of the articles says the white house chef crew is part of the shutdown, so trump paid $3k out of his own pocket to get that stuff. there's an interesting thing here about the free market picking up the government slack.

it's also extremely clever in that many of the media whores will want to talk shit about this, but can they get away with it? can they talk shit about mcd's or burger king or whatever without catching shit from those companies? they advertise heavily on all tv channels, and advertisers will not tolerate it if you talk against their products.

as a gluten/lactose/GMO intolerant type of eater, that spread is a kick in the nuts to me. >__>

I agree.

The reasonable (AKA non-conspiritard) theory is that Donald really does like fast food, and left up to him, he chose a feast that would make him very happy if he were a guest or some such.
i totally get the whole `here's a feast of my favs` type of deal, that's some shit i'd do.

more thoughts... 300 burgers... let's get into that. what's 300 in the conspiracy realm?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Committee_of_300

a burger for each of them, and each of them eaten and turned to shit.

this also creates a divide between the snooty types and the everyday type of person. most people really enjoy some mcd's/bk/wendys/etc. shit, i used to eat at BK all the time.

A wealthy known jewish family that i did some work for told me to never eat fast food...so naturally i assumed they just meant its not healthy that kinda thing. She told me its worse than that and refused to divilulge anymore info.

2:00 she addresses this story.
