I just think it's absurd. They're making them sooo long and fake looking these days. I would say probably 80% of chicks out there with long nails are sporting fakes.

Fake nails are INCREDIBLY DAMAGING to the real nail. I don't care what kind of fake nails you have. They are intensely damaging your real nail underneath. Making it so that if you wanted to grow out your own nails, you'd have to deal with a bunch of breaking and peeling due to all the damage sustained from fake nails.

Why not just give it a few months and grow yourself some nice real but modest nails?

Real always wins in my book. Real isn't toxic... real isn't damaging... real doesn't make you look like you have 83942635 insecurities hidden under all the plastic.

Yeah they are. And both fake nails and eyelashes are a sure fire way to fuck up what's underneath.

You can't suffocate your natural nails and then expect them to be healthy. You can't glue strips of fake lashes on and expect your real lashes not to thin.
