Every so often, the YouTube clickbaiters try to get everybody worked up over some inconsequential bullshit or other. Here's a sample of this week's crop.
Jussie Smollett
I had never heard of this guy or his show before the hate crime hoax ruckus came up. Zero fucks given.
Rotten Tomatoes / Captain Marvel
Comic book movies are all boring 2-hour CGI cultural Marxist shitfests. I haven't seen one in years and refuse to ever see one again. I never heard of the bitch in this one. Can't remember the last time I visited Rotten Tomatoes, which means I probably wasn't impressed with it. Zero fucks given.
Yup i dont even care what trix has to propagandize , i just come here for the free food and fantasies
its like 4chan but better
i care about the smollett hoax, because it's hilarious and further exposes how dumb the groups involved are. i don't think a non-leftist group could even buy something like that.

I totally get where you're coming from, and there was a time when I would've found it amusing too. But it's become such a regular occurrence that I can't bring myself to laugh about it or even acknowledge it anymore. It's just nauseating by now.
It's painful to watch so many fellow countrymen get swept up in a mass delusion, and to carry it on for so long and to such outrageous lengths. The left like to point to the behavior of nationalists and patriots, the "toxic" memes that parody the left and so forth, and glibly say, "That's not who we are." But, in the same vein as Smollett's shenanigans, that's just a catchy virtue-signalling buzz phrase designed to score points in the court of public opinion. They don't give a tepid broom closet fuck about dialing back the antagonism or having a rational dialog. Fatherless five-year-olds one-upping each other in the schoolyard. Smarmy douchenozzles trying to "own" each other in the comments and on the message boards.
It's frightening to ponder where it might lead. These people are heavily invested in their narrative, and are desperate to validate it at all costs, and in the face of all contrary evidence. It's become so vile that it's driving the best and brightest on the left away from liberalism altogether. God only knows how far they'll take it. They clearly don't have a moral compass to restrain their actions. That makes them dangerous. Stalin-level dangerous. Pol Pot-level dangerous. Ceaușescu-level dangerous.
I was starting to think I'd have to use Dissenter to reply to my own thread.

Nah...
Guest posts are just the lowest priority.
Anybody who should have access to instant posting should be a registered member anyway.
I mean if you gave a fuck about being part of the community, you’d register right?
But of course we all know what happens when you abuse your position as a registered member...
You get to be a Guest forever! Teehee!
Ah well, it’s better than nothing.
“Dissenter” might seem like a great idea now, but it will be destroyed somehow...
I’d never use the shit. To me, it doesn’t exist.
It’s not a solution at all...
Just more pacification so people don’t make their own websites...

You gave that post like 20 minutes to be approved before you posted it again...
Bitch I’m busy.

I registered a few weeks ago and got an e-mail saying my account had been approved, but I wasn't able to log in.
Totally not interested in getting into another pissing match over that again. Done is done.
You approved half a dozen posts I posted after that one in the meantime though. Are they listed in reverse order or something?
I think being a Guest is better for some posters...
There’s nothing wrong with it.
A lot of people may not agree with the way I run things as it pertains to delayed guest posting etc., but it has to be this way.
In some ways, nothing’s changed since early 2000s era message boards, and in some ways a lot has changed. Shills were never such a problem back then for example. Spam yeah, shills no.

I just look at the top threads...
Anything farther down the page I either have to scroll and eventually see it, or I just happen to check the mod queue which is rare.

You think I'm a shill? Who or what do you think I'm shilling for?

They're in reverse order then. That was my first post of the day. Thanks for clearing that up. I thought I'd forgotten to hit the post button at first.
No I don’t think you’re a shill...
Lmao.
Not everything is about you sonny.

Not sure why you'd bring up shills in this context then.

I know. It's all about you. Especially the Cars songs.
*bites lip, bats eyes*
Oh.
I like you.

"Stolen Valor"
Yeah, I get why veterans would be pissed at someone who didn't serve for pretending to be a decorated war hero or whatever, but come on. The whole business of continuing to obsess about military life decades after being discharged back into civilian life is rather like a 40-year-old former high school jock reliving his glory days on the gridiron. It says to me that he hasn't done anything else worth talking about in the 20+ years since. Get over it.
