Because I am so fucking crafty.

Because I am SO weird, and so creative.

Because I want to look like a dirty hippie.
OMG this is a great shade of yellowy orange going on right now...

I mean it's GORGEOUS.

It's going to give the PERFECT look.

The one on the left is dyed with cranberry juice and a little bit of red food coloring...

The right one OMG I LOVEEE ITTT, it's dyed with turmeric/tea/red food coloring.

Sooo stoked.
Those came out beautiful, I never knew you could dye clothing with juice and spices. I've heard of tea before.

Were the shirts plain white before?
They were plain white! Ew! Ahahaha! I'm sorry but I just couldn't justify keeping them that way.

These are from a pack of plain white Hanes tees. They are THE BEST for cutting up/custom modifying!!!

ANYTHING that stains clothes is fair game for dyeing them...

OMG I SHOULD USE SOME MUSTARD IN MY YELLOW BATCH.
OMG the last one came out the PERFECT shade of yellow, no BS, I don't even know how it happened but it's EXACTLY what I wanted!!! I found an entire container of Grey Poupon in the fridge that expired in 2017, so I dumped the whole thing in the pot!!!
The light yellow one I dyed in the mustard/turmeric mixture is halfway dry now and it smells exactly like watermelon... I'm shook.
If you just buy an orange Hanes shirt, they're BRIGHT.

This looks toned down and more 'earthy'.

I'm stoked.

Next up I'll be dyeing a couple more shirts with Kool-Aid. LOLOL.
Show us more pics and how they turned out!!
Once I acquire the desired colors of Kool Aid, I will show pics of them if they don't look embarrassing or fucked up!!!
