Our American (mis)government loves to use that trick too. As I look around, it seems conclusive women at the head of government is a bad idea. May has doublecrossed her nation and sold them out on Brexit. She is doing the bidding of her puppetmasters in Brussels not caring who she hurts. The madwoman in Germany has almost totally ruined that nation. The unchecked immigration has done more damage than WWI reparations and Allied bombing in WWII combined. They will never recover. Incidentally though, it's femme Macaroni in France who is ruining that nation and the National Front leader Le Pen would have been a great asset to her nation. Overall, the experiment of women in government seems to have failed. Like I have always said, behind every great dictator was a woman.

It has been an abject pure and total failure.

Ann Coulter has even gone so far as to say that women should not have been given the right to vote. I don't know what the answer is but we have fallen from the principles that the Founders enshrined when they buiot this republic. America was never meant to be a democracy. That's why we have an Electoral College. That's why we didn't have direct election of senators. I sometimes think we need to return to the time when only the propertied class had the right to vote. That way, growing up, every person would aspire to own property in order to participate to the fullest extent in the civic process. Nowadays all they aspire to is to turn 18. What is that? Being 18 means you know what it takes to run a country? It doesn't. Only people with skin in the game should have a say.

I think rather than revoke suffrage for non-landholders, which is so ingrained at this point that taking it away would trigger a mass uprising, repealing the 17th Amendment would go a long way towards reigning in mobocracy and Federal hegemony.

In principle. In practice, how would it improve the character of our senators? Because if it doesn’t improve the character of the Senate, then it is really an empty gesture. I think about a state like Texas, which I think would probably send John Cornyn any way to the Senate, because of the connectedness of it all and they’re penchant for promoting their own. In California, would the legislature do a better job of picking the senators from that state than the people? It’s hard to imagine that they could do worse. But would they have the filibuster? If they did have one, then it could be used to stop the promotion of highly incendiary persons such as Kamala Harris from being promoted, but the same filibuster could be used to prevent people like Rand Paul from serving if enough Dems were able to suppress his confirmation. I also wonder if men of honor on the other side like Joe Manchin could get in there or if in blue states it would just be all communist all the time. It definitely raises a lot of questions and it would seem just from considering the possibilities that it would lead to a greatly moderated Senate except in really red and really blue states. But moderates in most cases are just ordinary people lacking principles. Also, if moderate means moderate like David Souter than we’d be in for a real mess. I think for every Kamala Harris and Sherrod Brown we’d dodge, we’d also lose a Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. We’d probably get a lot more Marco Rubios and John McCains.

Jason acts like he'd rather be doing something else, even when he's doing the video alone. One time he as much as said he had better things to do.

My impression was that Luke had asked Jason to do their regular video that night while he was in Paris, and Jason was mad because he had other plans. He clearly didn't want to be there.


Whatever the case may be, if there's that much interpersonal friction between them that they're getting pissy with each other on camera, one of them should leave.

He probably does have better things to do...
