Because that was the era of bad emo MySpace music that I wholly avoided and considered popular music dead from there on out...
Around the same time I turned my back on TV forever.

Hmmm...
Interesting.
I don't doubt your foresight in this matter...
I do want to extend my appreciation to you for sharing this though.
It has long been my supposition that people who are nearing the end of their lives "somehow" know it or can feel it on a deep internal level...
My qualm is when they don't share that inkling with everyone, and make it ABSOLUTELY known what they feel.
I commend you for stating this...
I hope you will take appropriate actions in your personal life in light of this feeling you have.
Do you have any special things you've written over the years?? Print them out or make copies... put them in binders and leave them so that people know who you were, what you were about, what was going on in your mind.
Do you have pictures of yourself throughout the years? Photo albums? Leave those for people so they can know you.
What's important to you?? What have you given a lot of time to?? Is it music? You should let people know what music was your favorite. Print out a list of your computer's music library. Take screencaps of it and just print those. Whatever is easier for you...
Leave behind a packet of info about yourself at the very least so people know who you were and what mattered to you.
Everyone should do this whether they think they're going to die or not... but I can tell you I am currently doing this is in my own life.
Make sure (whenever you go, be it tomorrow or 20 years from now) that you make it easy for yourself to be remembered and for people to know who you were.

It Is because people who know it is coming actually find peace.... they go willingly as they just feel it is right....
I have heard this from many people who work in hospice..... many people there are very sick...but one day they just have a look and manor about them... some have even said out right.... I am at peace i am ready....
I have even read stories about this but had been a little skeptical.... but when you hear from someone you trust.

I wonder if this a 40s thing? Im being totally serious, any other 40 somethings on here?
My guy (43) went thru this last year, he was CERTAIN he was a goner (out of nowhere, he anit sick, I forced him to go get a fullon checkup, labs and all, 100% fine)
Could it be related to the "happiness curve"?
