It takes a very long time to become an absolutely excellent moderator/administrator and a total master of your trade...
Most people aren't devoted enough and don't have good enough discernment to make excellent mods...

There are actually several sites OP could be talking about, but I just assume they all have total garbage mods because I'm the best mod on any forum on the internet, and if I'm not there then I know they all suck...
