I'm not saying do it here, I'm just saying do it somewhere/to someone.

If you're going through a hard time, make sure you talk to at least a few people about it...

And in a lot of ways, I think it's best to talk to as many people as possible about it.

No matter what it is, how personal or sensitive, you should tell at least a few people.
There are people out there whose destinies involve listening to your struggles and knowing the details of those struggles.
does typing up posts only to not actually publish them count, knowing the NSA/CIA get to read them anyway?
I like to tell myself it does, kind of the same way I go about my daily life talking to myself out loud in a rather animated fashion...

The problem with them is that they can't tell anybody else what you said (especially people who matter) cuz they're not "supposed to be" listening.
You gotta tell people about even the really nasty, fucked up shit.
I gotta tell ya...

It can be hard to get past the total embarrassment and all out humiliation that surrounds sharing certain details.

But it's like a muscle, the more you work it, the stronger it gets...

Nobody ever becomes stronger and then goes "Ah man, I wish I didn't improve myself and get stronger!"

Nope.

There are people who are supposed to witness you in your most vulnerable, fucked up states.

They're usually strangers...

shrug

I'm just saying...

You telling people about some of your more personal, intense problems still probably isn't gonna hold a candle to what some people could have to deal with regarding you someday, without you having any power over the situation at all.

You have power over sharing your struggles, and yeah it seems hard and it is hard at first... but you control it.

A lot of people think the power lies in holding it all in and NOT sharing with people... and sure, for some things, that might be true.

But usually it's not.
