Pilot biscuits (aka hardtack) with a chunk of salami and a thin slice of good Swiss cheese topped with a pickled serrano pepper, I can eat 20 of them in a row. And frequently do. Thai iced tea to sip now and then knocks the burn down to manageable levels.
I love to consume pilot crackers with lots of hot liquid.

Oyster crackers in ANY kind of soup. Lay 'em on thick, replenish as necessary.
I have a sordid history with oyster crackers...
Let's just say I've had my lifetime quota, and they are what truly began my cracker obsession.
A staple in my house during the 'soup months'- keep three bags on hand, buy three more when I get down to the third bag.
Every day of every week of every month of every year is soup time.
Soup Season is year round my friend.
I am gonna make a confession to you...
Sometimes I put potato chips in my soup.
I would never eat potato chips and crackers together though, that's fucked up.
I either have one, or the other.
Nothing can take the place of classic soup and crackers, but damn the possibilities are endless when you're using chips.
Salt/vinegar chips are great in soup, sour cream and onion chips, regular flavor, even BBQ would be good in some soups.
Soup above 70-75f ambient isn't happening here, that's the season for switching to serious vasodilation by way of megadoses of capsaicin here.
My socks fall down I need to shrink them.
But they were quality and cheap.
A HUNDRED YEARS seems like a stretch but wow...
Can you imagine!?
Date the jar and someone finds it 80 years later?!
Lol.
I think these guys have the best hardtack tutorial.
Making hardtack for long term/survival storage is great, but I'm actually gonna eat it.
