i would put a lot of time and effort into understanding you.
Nobody understands anybody's life though, that's the thing.
I think some people may get more understanding than others, but I don't think people generally feel understood.
how many actually seek to be understood? how many seek to understand others?
a lot of people don't try to understand others as they don't want to be understood themselves. they don't like what they understand of themselves.
i want to be fully understood by someone that i fully understand. there's another aspect to that too... acceptance. there have been some that i came to understand very well... but i don't always want to accept them. we want to be accepted, yes? how can one feel accepted if they do not feel as though they are understood?

Acceptance has its place... it's nice.
But to be understood is what I think matters most.

Not just intelligent. I'd say spiritual and observant too. You think about things and why they are. I do that too.
I know GG, and that is why I love you so much and find so much kinship with your spirit.
I guess understanding is hard won sometimes though...
I realized a lot of that today thinking back on people I've known.
