Are any of you familiar with this? I just recently found about it. It confirmed my suspicions about a lot of things. I grew up in the 70's and 80's. There were all different kinds of television shows. Shows that featured working class people (both black and white), rural people, small town people. Then one day I realized every show was about upper class people who lived in major cities. Weird shit.

The Beverly Hillbillies and other sitcoms of that ilk tended to mock rural people for the amusement of coastal city dwellers. They must've milked the franchise for every last yock it had in it by the early 70s.
TV show trends have always been about whatever demographic they think needs mind controllin' at the time...

It's all about conditioning...

They've always studied the trends after they air certain things just to see who responded and how...

They change it up depending on whether past missions were successful, and whether it's time to move on to the next target/phase of the plan.

I would agree about the Beverly Hillbillies. I don't remember many others that were that way though. It's not just rural shows though. Shows that feature working class people and make them feel like a part of society are almost non-existent anymore. My theory is that since the black/white working class was  mostly replaced by immigrants, they are no longer a viable consumer market.

I think movies are where most of the conditioning happens. Someone on YT did an analysis of the movie Forest Gump. I remember seeing it when I was younger and thinking is was super weird/fucked up. After seeing it broken down piece by piece it was really disturbing. Do you have any threads that go into TV/Movie programming?
My observations are mostly in individual movie/TV review & commentary threads... I detail the psychological manipulation when I see it, with each one.

Not sure what happened with that tiny text. lol
Oh that happens when you use the "New Reply" page instead of just the Quick Reply box.

If you copy/paste anything using the New Reply page, it styles the text in the way the source text is formatted. 9 times outta 10 it comes out a trainwreck.

I never use the New Reply page.
If you're clicking on "Reply" beside each post in order to be able to quote people, you should click "Quote" instead and just go down to the Quick Reply box and type your reply... saves time and your posts never come out fucked up.
You can quote more than one post at a time too, it's handy... just push "Quote" and then scroll down to the Quick Reply box and push "Quote these posts now".

I've edited some of the fucked up formatting in a lot of the posts you've made because I'm a perfectionist, but I don't have time to do that all day.
