There's not much inside a computer case.
1. Power supply aka PSU
2. Processor(s) aka CPU
3. Graphics chip or card aka GPU
4. Motherboard, aka MObo
5. Random Access Memory aka RAM
6. Data storage by either Solid State Drives aka SSD or optical Hard Dick Drives aka HDD
7. CPU cooler and Fan
8. USB Hub Control for functions like power, on off lights, drive access lights
9. Lots of fans (adoring ones at that).
10. Cables coming to the MObo to various of the above listed components
11. You ( I know you can fit in there, let's be honest.)

I guess it's just the sound of those poor fans working that really gets to me.
I just feel so bad for them.
Like, can they really handle it??
Yes. They're rated for a quintillion revolutions.
Every time I gotta whip out the air on my computer I'm like RIP... this could be it.
Watches might be the piece of technology we've been the most intimate with over the centuries.
Also, the watches with the quartz crystals might be beneficial to the wearer.
It's a beautiful thought, Dick... I used to wear a watch a lot as a kid. I enjoyed it, but eventually I just started to dislike the way it felt on my wrist. I had several pretty nice watches too but it didn't seem to matter which one I tried.
I like wearing a crystal pendant necklace that rests against my chest though, just because I do think there are benefits in proximity to crystals.
LOL. What's written on the tape hatch.
LOL. Wearing a watch might anchor you to the current timeline/dimensional reality.
Since timekeeping and clocktowers appeared, "TPTBATT" couldn't let humanity mill around for "ages" (Iron Age, Bronze Age, Stone Age) and had to speed up current events and advancements.
