I don't think China is involved in anything but their own interests but even if they are it has no sense negotiating with them. The real problems for me is how western governments stopped protecting their people from terrorists since they come from countries they have business with like Islamic countries for example. I see the rioting as part of that and we just got to watch them destroy the country since we are obligated to be neutral. Even inferring you will twist China's hand is delusional in my opinion
