They're just not "popular" anymore.

You'd probably have to go to a crop circle specific info source in order to get crop circle updates.

They were all the rage 15-20 years ago, not so much now.

If they have suddenly stopped being produced though, that's a pretty clear sign they were being done by a particular group.
