I think a lot of people have been hotly debating this topic for a long time.

Why would Russia just stand back and allow America to have Antarctica?

Well, I think it's because America is friendly and it would offer up great deals to Russia.

See, Russia occupies itself with one thing...

Russia.

That is why if it can get things from America without rocking the boat, then it won't fight for that "territory"...

Because Russia knows long after America wipes itself out, the mess will be cleaned up and taken over, and Russia will be left standing as always.

Russia dwarfs China and everywhere else and has operatives across the whole world but ESPECIALLY the middle east.

America don't give a shit though cuz it just wants to go to space...

Russia will also go to space, and a lot of it will be done by proxy through the USA.

Space isn't gonna be Russia's top concern...

It will be too busy RULING THE FUCKING WORLD.

I wish that Russia would do a serious 'homesteading' offer say 1000 acres free so long as you develop the land for farming or lumber harvesting , that would help them increase their population and taxes paid to king Putin

Seeing earth from space didn't change anyones worldview. Most people remained as primitive and superstitious as before. That should have been a MAJOR game changer. We're spinning on a giant rock at 1000 mph and orbiting the sun at 67,000 mph. How many people really think about that?

If you look at every military campaign they ever engaged in, even going back to the Cossack's on horses.
Its because Russians were being killed.
Look at their constitution? They are only allowed to go to war invade another country if someone is harming/killing Russians.
The only reason they got involved in Syria was cos the Muji's were attacking their bases.

More specifically, Russia just wants to defend Russia.

Everyone from Genghis Khan to Napoleon to Hitler has tried to run roughshod over Russia. Invading Russia is initially easy because much of it is wide open grassland. Russia has a genuine reason to be concerned about foreign threats.

Russia also only has less than 150 million people, which isn't a lot considering the size of the territory it has to defend.
