I've heard from several men that they were visited by an entity when they were kids...
Usually only once, and typically it was a female. If not descriptively female, then it was just sort of vague/unknown.
Usually there are vampiric elements to the experience.
It's interesting...
Hearing this out of one or two dudes, hmm, okay, well that's strange but probably just coincidence.
But hearing it out of probably like 5 different dudes now, I am starting to think it's a very fucking common experience.
I think there is the male equivalent of this entity as well, which visits girls.
I have definitely experienced this...
But from what I can tell about the girls' experiences, this entity doesn't actually take a form.
For the males, it seems to take a (female) form.
This is different from shadow people...

It's also not the same thing as sleep paralysis and the "Night Hag" or "Old Hag" chest sitting entity...

Strange shit!
I've seen non-human entities as a child.
Once I saw three Greys looking in my bedroom window. I'd never heard of UFOs or Greys, so it wasn't the power of suggestion.
Another time, around Christmas, my mom had pinned big styrofoam peppermints on the bedroom wall. I saw an elf or something flitting around them.
I also saw a gnome or some shit standing in the bedroom floor. He looked like he was obsessively hammering on something while looking at me. I think the lights were actually on when that happened.
These events all occurred in the bedroom at night when I was 5 or 6. I was either alone or my sister was asleep in the other bed.
Around the same time, my sister said she saw the floorboards split apart and a hand holding a green lantern came out of the hole.

Yeah well mate ive had it my whole life and I think its epileptic fits.
It is receptors in the brain that open up different Ion channels that allow electrical chemical discharges to occur.
That don't occur in most people only some and it is genetic.
Which when you say they should not occur why should they not?
Or on the other side it could be alien tech interfering with our minds.
Or even taking our physical form away for what purpose?
I don't know.
I go with A.

She must've been dreaming when she saw that. She said it created a rift in the floor between our beds, and we were both terrified. But I don't remember it.
On another occasion, we were staying at someone's house out of town overnight. I slept on a leather sofa in a pitch dark room. As dark as it was, I looked up in the corner and saw a miniature woman in a long dress who looked like she was made of shimmering spiderwebs floating there.
I could've dreamed all of this shit, but it seemed very real and frightening.
Yeah this happened to me in england when i was 8 years old on my way back from africa. Was sleeping in a trailer and a mystery lady visited me and told me i was living with a dangerous family but she would watch over me .
Holy frick...
Thanks for the epic feedback, guys.
Undoubtedly there are many different types of paranormal phenomena that people experience...
A lot of it doesn't fall into a specific category based on the types of entities encountered either.
I'll have to think about what categories these experiences fit into.
I think with the "vampiric" entity stories that I've heard out of men, the closest label would be 'succubus' entities. Of course the male version of a succubus is the incubus.
But there's something even deeper to it than that with these stories about the childhood visitations.
Many succubus/incubus stories I've ever heard recounted were not one off experiences, they usually occurred on at least a few separate occasions. And they can happen at any age.
The night hag is invisible, but they associate it with a female presence? Interesting.
Well I've heard people talk about sleep paralysis and actually seeing an evil looking SMALL scary ugly apparently female (not sure how they know) entity upon the chest.
Almost sorta hobbit-like, I guess.
I notice many of the entities recounted in a great variety of stories are small in size.
Even I have personal experience with that.

I got my "there is an afterlife" from my mother when I was 28. Something I asked her for when I was 7. She gave it to me in the ICU she had a tube down her throat so had to write it on paper. She gave me that which I asked her for so long ago. A mothers gift to a child a promise she would never break. Im 44 now and know they are waiting for me. They will come and I will probably tell them to fuck off. They will wait until I am ready to go.

Jung would say the succubus is the anima contaminated with the shadow in men, or the animus contaminated with the shadow in women. It's probably due to a bad relationship with the parent of the opposite sex. For instance, an overbearing mother.

It would seem they are not actually here in this physical manifestation of space time. Just a perception. Projections holograms.
But they come somehow.
