Someone once described the Chinese as soulless insects. I can't really say he was wrong. For all of their bragging about their 7,000 years of civilization and culture, the culture of modern day China under Communist rule has little to commend it.
Pick pocketing, kidnapping, and violent assault are rampant. If you're a victim of crime, nobody will help you. People do not give a fuck. A favorite saying in China is "Oh well, nothing can be done." They say it all the time, in every imaginable context.

Apparently they're claiming Vladivostok, a large port city in far eastern Russia, as an ancestral Chinese homeland or some such bullshit.

So now Russia and India have teamed up to put China in its place. China is hemmed in on both sides by two major powers in the region.
