I feel like life is just a series of things you love either becoming too complicated to deal with anymore, or being taken away from you entirely.

ORRRRR one could just wait an hour or two and
then go irrigate
after having their popcorn... Cake - Eat it - Win.
So crazy, it might actually work!

It does seem like there are constant "lessons" about letting go. Given the finite nature of organic life, the longer you live the more people that you know will die, the more relationships will end, the more transitioning will happen, so loss (which is also "change", for better or worse) is a kind of math. Take Robert Plant. His son died at five years old. Tragedy. Then Led Zep got huge and he became a rock god. Now he's old and wrinkled and bearded and the reaper has at least half the scythe up his wonderful ass. My point eludes me, but something-something-something.
I'm not Buddhist, but its core tenants seem to be designed to help navigate exactly what you're referring to, so it's a wonder why more people aren't embracing it. I guess it's because it's fucking dull (with apologies to any Buddhist reading this).
MO you have no idea what Buddhism is even about fundamentally.

I never fuckin' claimed to.
I don't really care about labelled religions.
You told me not to quote directly above me oh so high one.
I didn't post that... Taco posted that.
I appreciate you adhering to my written rules.
But I did not make that post re: Buddhism.
All I've ever really heard about Buddhism from anybody I've known who studied it was that it's about "service to others" or something which, LOL... umm, no thanks.
Is it your Minister Mom then?

Wow I just replying why does my reply box quote display invisible text and then presto rabbit out of a hat.

Depends what you mean by service to be here. Service to the church is better though isn’t it.
I sense Marmel is on some type of binge regarding a substance (possibly illicit) and is taking it out on us!
Or he/she could just be upon the rag.
Or maybe Marmel is an angry sexpatriate! OMG that's what it is!
Marmel, bro... do you think you're the only sexpatriate here? Stop taking things so personally. LMAO!
I may not know anything about Boodizm, but I can read you like an unholy book.
I’ve never been to SE Asia meatshakes
But is it your dream to do so??
Am I stomping your dreams into pulp and then pissing on the pulp??
Bro, consider it learning a lesson the easy way...
Now you don't HAVE to do it!
See how that works?
See how I actually did you a solid there?
You realize it's even weirder and more awkward if you legitimately ARE this mad about Buddhism though, right??
Go with the sexpatriate narrative bro... it's cooler.
