Often when the lead guitarist is also the singer, we lose sight of just how good they are on guitar. Take Prince, for instance. I think everyone knows he's phenomenal on guitar, but I don't think people recognize him as top ten all time, which, in my opinion, he is. Mark Knopfler and Paul Simon come to mind.
