The other night I was watching this 1988 movie called "Vibes" which I had never even heard of before...



A lot of spicy one liner material in there for her, seemed like a nod at Mae West.

I think Cyndi Lauper is pretty and super funky and cool...

I think she kind of invented dressing all weird...

Not wild about all the different colors of hair because it's too much work, but when Cyndi was doing it back in the day, it was unique.

I also think Cyndi aged very well... she always had a babyface.

I think around age 60 she developed a really bad case of psoriasis, an autoimmune disease causing serious inflammation... I think she's gotten it under control now, but it was absolutely horrible. She said she felt bad about the people who were helping put her in costume for performances and stuff because her skin was so painful, and they felt bad for hurting her unintentionally. I'm glad she's doing better now.
