This japanese dude killed 36 people and injured another 30 by lighting their animations business on fire with gasoline
During the attack the culprit himself caught fire and would have 90% of his body burned and going unconscious.
During his stay at hospital the doctors wanted to start skin grafts but zero people wanted to donate to this guy...so they decided to experiment with artificial lab grown skin(it takes about 6 months for small batches)
He was given 1% chance survival
