If you couldn't really see people til you were up close, were you already too invested at that point to call it all off if you got up to them and they were fugly???
If you rejected somebody AFTER you got up close to them and realized they're ugly, that would hurt their feelings even worse than if you had glasses and always knew you didn't want to have sex with them.
I think a world with glasses is a lot better in some ways, but not as great in others.
