I forgot about the Stevie Nicks/Joan Jett 'scratch' she put into her voice at points in this song.

This is my all time favorite Madonna song. The video is cool too. It has some weak-ass dated parkour, but she's never looked finer or sounded more refined, in a good way.

I looove the dancing and cowboy/cowgirl aesthetic, truly, (likely because of my age at the time) I think they are the best Madonna songs.

I was about to post another video, and my subconscious stirred, and I could almost audibly hear it saying "Hey, do you even remember where you are, man? You really posted this thread without doing a search? Listen to me: not only is there definitely a Madonna thread that already exists, but you probably/definitely posted on it. And of course I wasn't at all surprised to see that Get Into the Groove was also your first entry, lol! Not even vaguely surprised. Not because of the song, but because synchronicity. And I probably don't even need to say this, but the video I was about to post was fucking Don't Tell Me.
