I have the same exact problem with Tuna. I notice it severely when it's a tuna melt, then it's crippling.
If it's heated at all, it seems to be markedly worse.
Kippered snacks don't hurt me, I've eaten A LOT of them over the years. I love those damn things!

I'm suspicious too Fung...

I am wondering if it's some kinda can based toxin...

But it's had this effect on me for years and years.

Apparently fresh fish is supposed to mess you up even worse than the canned stuff if you have an allergy.

I haven't had a whole lot of fresh fish in my time.

Can't recall it ever messing me up too bad though.

The best fresh fish I ever had was a flounder...

Oh God it was amazing.

It can't be ALL fish. It just can't.

I will get to the bottom of it.

I doubt its the can unless they changed something in the can(which they never tell you).
Im thinking its some new process they putting the fish through before they chop cook n can it.
Like remember years ago they were irradiating lettuce and other veg to stop some bacteria or something?
But then could just be a straight up allergy remember allergies can get worse over time.
Flounder is tasty if deep fried but they often have worms in them parasites cos they are kind of a stationary sideways fish.
Herrings kippers are the best but they canned in brine a lot of salt.
I tried the dutch kind which is preserved in oil, not to good for you cos of the oil but very tasty.
You did eat smoked salmon years back and never reported sickness maybe smoking it removes something?

I remember that smoked salmon you're talking about.

Man it's been so long...

I just can't remember if it made me feel like shit or not.

I am going to try out kippered snacks next.

If they make me feel like shit or cause this kind of reaction...

I am gonna be sad as shit.

Like...

Tuna? I can let it go.

Kippered snacks, PLEASE NOOOOOOOOOOOO DON'T TAKE THEM AWAY FROM MEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can let the salmon go too.

Last time I ate very much salmon was on my roadtrips, and I have to say I remember it made me feel some type of way because I always opted to buy something at the store instead of eating the supply of canned salmon I had brought with me.

Ooooooh snap! Are you referring to the show's very thinly-veiled yet still somewhat ambiguous
homo-erotic relationship between Batman and his Robin? Cuz I wasn't even thinking about that.

UNTIL NOW!!! *freaked-out nana close-up*
The satin and leotards were a dead giveaway.

Fucking never again.

This was just your standard tuna in water and doesn't even have the soy crap in it they try and sneak into everything these days.

One wonders where they got the water?.
The Mekong river in Vietnam?
Tuna canned in Thailand is pretty good.
Once the Thai fish industry was a disgrace 20 years ago.
Then they cleaned up their act many internationals went there invested in it now its pretty good.

The Japanese eat the weirdest sea food no one else would eat, and have the longest life expectancy of any other country.
And they eat it raw only dipping it in high salt kikkoman brewed soy sauce.
Yet every time they eat it they always eat it with some kind of Kelp or Seaweed, which is a known high source of Iodine.
Which is known to counteract the effects of radioactive isotopes.

Fact is...

I'm like damn near 100% Scottish.

I'm 1/16 Lakota Sioux and that's the only other lineage I'm aware of.

I basically need an ancient Scottish diet.

That's what I think.
I hope Scottish food is better than English food.
I'm thinking it's a ton of dairy for the most part.

Like dairy, potatoes, meat.

I crave goat milk to an INSANE, unreasonable degree.

I think there were a lot of goats involved...

Go buy a Tuna steak from a fishmonger and cook it and eat it with vegetables.
Go buy a Herring and cook it the same.
If you get issues then you developed an allergy.
Here is very strict food labeling laws, yet it will say made in Australia from at least 85% local ingredients.
I be like mofo where is the other 25% from? A nuclear reactor in CCP land?
I throw the shit on the ground while people stare at me.
