Specifically Express VPN because: "After ExpressVPN  CIO Named in UAE Surveillance Scandal; Edward Snowden says stop using it. 

"If you're an ExpressVPN customer, you shouldn't be." Snowden tweeted. Snowden also worked for ExpressVPN.

A bit odd, the coincidental timing of this as I've been using them for years and never have missed a payment but I didn't "feel" like paying $13 again this month so I uploaded a different primary CC number on a card with zero balance. 
four days later I read about this issue with some of the top VPNs. 

If you want a decent one, free ones are out there and not tied to the big ones. I'm not sure about Nord vpn. You shouldn't trust a vpn that wants your email address for "billing." 

If you don't torrent and just want a free vpn, proton vpn is okay. Best get a vpn that has wireguard integration.
