Is there like a national holiday or Sumthing
I don't see anyone posting here today
I think the forum died or something
Where y'all crazy sobs @?
This happens often?
Is there a generalstrike outsid e Interstellar headquarters or something?
Are workers unionizing? Demanding better doge wages or wut
There have been entire months of awkward silence on this site, like posts were still made but it felt extremely restricted and like nobody was being honest about their life.
Then there are times when a lot of posts get made, there are posting binges and total crazy/stupid shit getting posted all day.
But in general it ebbs and flows and if I'm personally really busy, it can be very slow moving.
Quietness on the board is typically my preference... I do like the binges too though, a lot of fun but it can cause burnout.
I've been to sites that were very busy and "loud" and overwhelming as soon as you 'step into' the space...
I appreciate this site for being the way it is, it's not loud or too much traffic, it's not overwhelming, it's generally peaceful.
I moderate it heavily so no one gets to say stupid shit, so there's no meaningless fluff/filler when I'm not posting...
The purpose of this site isn't to have people posting on it every minute of every hour of every day, the purpose is to be my fucking website.
This is a Monday that feels like a Sunday though, I will say that.
The internet is seasonal. People live on the internet in the winter, and start using it less in the spring/summer.
I'm a social reeetard though so I use the internet a lot year around.
felt extremely restricted and like nobody was being honest about their life.
So you want me to start making topics about my life?
I general what kind of posts are you interested in
We should have a list of it. As a guideline
Maybe that would compensate for the lack of my masculinity
Well, there's a very subtle nuance that you'd have to be able to pick up on...
Remember, this is a roleplaying site. We're not like...
Being who we really are 100% here, so knowing your history and whatnot, I'd say you're better off NOT talking about your life if you're gonna include SPECIFICS.
No names, places, no dates, none of that shit. You're gonna have to learn how to play.
You act like you were raised on Facebook or something and it's just bizarre cuz I know you couldn't have been.
Original old school internet is not about telling everyone that your name is Bob Smith III and posting pics of yourself and your house and your Google Maps URL.
No, on the OG internet, your name is demonslayer69 and you're from the PACNW.
You NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRR get more specific than that, I dunno what else to tell ya.
There's a difference between what I do, and some shit like that.
It SEEMS like I overshare, it seems like TMI is my only mode...
But the reality is that most people on this site don't know anything about who I am, what I do, or my history.
ON MY SITE, they never will.
Doesn't matter what happens anywhere else.
Can you say that about your Facebook page, or even your YouTube channel?
You have like NOOOO control over that shit. They can wipe it out anytime, you can be attacked by shills ad infinitum.
Any number of things can take place, and none of it you have a say in.
This whole social media era of the internet has been VERY communist.
I have almost completely avoided it over the years due to ONLY using private websites.
I have never done FB, Twitter, Insta or any of that shit to any considerable degree whatsoever.
Now I'll admit to doing MySpace hardcore in like 2006-7, then trying to 'do' Facebook, MySpace style only to find that it was dumb and sucked (no HTML customization, just garbage).
We all knew something was wrong when people started using their REAL names on MySpace back in the day, something wicked was coming, lmao.
But I was lucky again because my use of internet message boards predated my use of MySpace (social media) by many years at that point, so I knew what true internet freedom really was.

Now if you HADN'T been an AVID user of the internet from 1996-2003, odds are, you wouldn't be well acquainted with true internet 'wild west' style freedom...
By the time social media came along, if you hadn't already been very deeply immersed in online culture and trends, you'd be hopelessly washed up in the circle jerk idiot fest that social media became.
Just A LOT of people with below average intelligence using their real names, posting photos of themselves and all their family members, hooking their smartphone contacts list up to Facebook for synching (datamining)...
The internet became a true shitshow.
This is why some of us, who have been here for a very long time at least relative to our own generation, REFUSE to use the joke that is social media.
Every single social media has been an internet ghetto shithole from the start.
And just because Elon owns the biggest share in Twitter now doesn't mean it isn't still an absolute shithole.
Im not on FACEBOOK anymore. or myspace. not even dating apps.
Im on youtube but mostly keep my channel secret
I Have no social political home, I do have twitter but hardly use it. I just need it sometimes to check up on folks. or write down very little what im thinking about stuff
Cus you can go on twitter and - be able to see peoples posts. without being a user
I even deleted my STEAM account with all my games.
I was become to popular on there. Seemed every week people wanted to keep adding me becuase I started getting good at this one game.
I will sometimes play the original starcraft online tho. Thats about it. Or Risk online.
Or these Play google Crypto Games on cell phone. Where I can atleast rward play games and make bitcoin or other coins
I was online on the Days of Napster and 56K internet.
Oh boy. The Days of Downloading Songs
Back in the day, people didn't populate their GeoCities and their LiveJournals and Blogspots with shit they cared about because they thought anybody was WATCHING or would LIKE IT.
In those days, you didn't participate in the internet because you WANTED APPROVAL.
You didn't participate for "likes" and "shares" and hearts and stars and all that other BANAL DOGSHIT.
You wrote that fucking blog for YOURSELF.
You made that GeoCities page BECAUSE YOU LOVED THE SHIT IT WAS ABOUT.
It wasn't about himynameisbobsmith.blogspot.com ... no, it was about INTERESTS, HOBBIES, PASSION.
And those interests/hobbies/passions aren't typically named after YOURSELF. In VERY FEW INSTANCES is it appropriate to just straight up name your internet project YOUR OWN FUCKING NAME.
You INVENT names/handles (BRANDS) to represent what it is that you do.
NO ONE EVER used their fucking name back then...
It wasn't about stupid shit like that, it was about CREATION.
A lot of people are just not capable of it these days...
Or maybe they never were, and they just weren't on the internet BEFORE.
The internet social media platforms evolved mostly due to Facebook by bringing people closer together
but also driving them apart ever more
its a machine world. with machine hearts and minds
its bigger than we can possibly imagine

Yup, if you're gonna play a video game these days, you might as well do it right. The crypto game sphere will only improve exponentially from here.

Im just getting my feet wet with these other android games And hope to make Sats
So Its hard to try out Google play Games, if they are fake or not
Have to test them all and see what happens really
The ones that ask for a wallet address looks legit
