You'd grow up watching Gunsmoke. You'd be a teenager on the outset of the '70s. You'd get to experience the entirety of the '80s in your true adulthood of 25-35. Then just as the '90s rolled around and grunge came along with a bunch of other shit you couldn't relate to, you'd be ready to get all boring. You'd invest in Apple and retire with millions!
I did the math on this when I was a teenager and I settled on either the year 1955 or 1956 for my own needs, I can't remember which one.
The year Marty McFly traveled back to in 1985.

I watched a movie made in 1955 last night, The Two Dollar Bettor. Awesome flick! No spoilers.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll take it down on my list... I have always been a fan of movies from the 1950s. I don't mind 1940s movies either, but I definitely would rather enjoy some 1950s-1970s films if I am gonna be picky about it.
1955 was a Chinese zodiac Goat year which I think is a good one to be born in. 1954 = Horse, also would have been a decent year to pick. No 1956 or 1953... not preferable to rock the Snake or Monkey vibe, even though I've known a few I do like, I wouldn't pick 'em.
I'm currently a Horse on the Chinese zodiac and I think it's one of the better signs... absolute bias at play I'm sure.
