Actually getting away from all condiments besides mustard in the future.

Really wanna stop using ranch, ketchup, BBQ sauce, stir fry sauce, all that type of stuff.

Maybe it sounds boring, but for me it's about using food as medicine and not screwing it up with unneeded additions...

I love the taste of cabbage, broccoli, peppers, all raw, so I don't need anything on it anyways.

Mustard though, like... I ain't ready to part ways with that.
Can't remember the last time I actually ate mustard, but. Still.

As far as sweet potatoes I like to mash them with cauliflower and add butter/sour cream, garlic powder and cayenne. Pretty dang good... you barely even notice the cauliflower and I assume it adds to the healthiness factor. They both steam quickly and at about the same rate.

Yeah I never use any refrigerated condiments-- the bottles get all glopped up and they're mostly corn syrup and sodium anyway.
I just throw salt pepper garlic powder cayenne or what have you on most things.
I don't typically use condiments either for stuff. Not much nutritional value, and they aren't even good. Yeah you can use stuf likd garlic powder, oil and vinegar, soy sauce instead.
I do like soy sauce on rice... but meh I dunno.

I'm turned off by all of it at this point.
I do wanna try coconut aminos sometime...

I tried that once it tasted nothing like soy sauce it actually tasted like coconut. Not good... I can't figure out why they market it as a soy sauce replacement.
Dried coconut flakes are good.
Yeah I like coconut sometimes... dunno if I'd want that flavor all over rice in the form of a brown sauce though.

I'm definitely gonna try the coconut amino stuff sometime, but it's not super high up on my priority list.

I've made a lot of different dessert versions of rice, sometimes using coconut flakes and strawberries, stuff like that.

Rice is so versatile.

I went brown rice only for a while, but I came back to white rice cuz I just love it.

The coconut aminos are kind of sweet in addition to the hint of coconut. Kind of like a thin syrup. I guess may be good on something.

You know chickpeas are higher in iron than beef? I told this chick in the UK to air fry them cos they come out like chips.
She fucked all that up said ewww no it all turned to mush but she didn't have the right air fryer with the rotating basket.

I bet she has anemia now. Hey man at least you tried
This whole convo is making me want a rare steak.

Canned yams with raisins/craisins, chopped pecans, dried apricot, and a chopped apple makes a great meal.

Sounds like something that would only be served in the autumn and winter months, but I don't believe any recipe should be reserved for only a certain time of year. If it's good, it's good.
Iiiiiiiieeeeeeeee...

I Can't

But okay.
I don't believe I could either. lol
I may try it someday after seeing this.

But...

It ain't gonna be my favorite mode.

I thought it was funny though...

Such a man approach.

Eat the sweet potato raw so you don't have to cook it, lol.

I love it... it's adorable, TBH.

This is why women need to be around in the camp always preparing the food for the homesteading men...

So they don't have to eat their sweet potatoes raw.

I very much appreciate the fact that he even grows them himself.
I dunno who raised that feller, but they definitely did it right.

I think he's getting really popular... which is great because he's so far beyond most of the toolbags in the manspace of social media.

He's practically some kind of holy figure.

Sure, he's a good looking guy but it's kind of hard to view him in a smexual way.
