This guy has a TON of videos about this topic... this is just his newest one.
He was obese and on his way to dying from diabetes, but he turned it all around...

Great channel and success story.

10:07 this is really fascinating... it all seems to suggest that exposure to really cold temperatures every now and then is good for you. It makes sense.
I would rather get naked and run outside in the freezing cold letting the streaking aspect of it provide the adrenaline... sounds better to me than plunging into cold water. I think it seems more natural.
I think once per week would be enough for this activity. MAYBE twice per week. Any more than that, and you'd lose the nervous adrenaline aspect of it cuz you'd get used to running outside naked in the cold at risk of being seen.
Russians take a dip in freezing water all the time.
There's a good chance Russians are shitfaced on vodka when they do those kinds of things though. lol
That would certainly help lol!
I always liked walking in and out of the air conditioned supermarket or mall on a hot day.
Dickie, that's really cute. So mindful and present of you!

I have been eating one med meal a day for the last 8 months . much less stomach issues and feel good after eating . I really only get issues if not enough water and too much junk food

I don't even crave fast food anymore as med. food is so tasty
Yeah, I am still not 100% sure about the proper frequency of eating. There's the "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" camp, and I see where they're coming from. But my natural inclination is to not eat before ~3PM, typically I'm hungriest around ~7PM and that's when I have a nice dinner. Later in the evening I may have a few snacks. I heard some guy say his mom told him only to eat when he was really hungry, otherwise don't force it. Seems like good advice... makes a natural kind of sense. Apparently you're supposed to allow yourself to have the feelings of hunger for an hour or so before you eventually eat.
