Just the same as there are many hybrid animals who can't reproduce...

I believe the situation is the same for some humans.
Two people may be able to successfully mate and produce offspring, but it's possible that the offspring is unable to reproduce.
What are the differences between humans which cause this hybridization? Maybe it's as simple as blood type differences. But my guess would be that there is much more to the story than modern science would ever be willing to share with us.
The truth would probably change human history as we know it.
There ARE some instances of hybrid animals successfully reproducing though...

I think the bottom line is that if you are a specific kind of hybrid human, you may only be capable of reproducing with a human who also has a very specific genetic makeup.
I believe the idea that ALL humans are capable of reproducing with each other is ABSOLUTELY a myth.
It would probably take hundreds of years for the scientific community to release this kind of truth, but they undoubtedly already know.
They just don't want US to know...
It would change the world and the way we look at ourselves if we actually knew the truth and the history of where we came from.
