I go back and forth getting absorbed in various projects and always have had a love/hate relationship with technology and am prone to disappear every once in a while.
Things are exceptionally well for me right now.
I'll DM you, I'd like to minimize the personally identifiable stories and details this time around at least in the "digitally public" arena.
I definitely want to catch up with you though.

Yeah I hear you, lol. I'm used to the cycles I go through with it now though and I know how to deal with burnout when it comes along.

Just protect your personal details as best you can when you post.
I never like people to use their real names, handles they use on social media, their picture, etc.
Here we like to choose a nice anonymous persona to express ourselves, the idea is to get away into a safe and private space to be honest about our thoughts/feelings.
When the era of Facebook came along, people started attaching their REAL name and their real photo to their persona, and honesty went right out the window...
I am totally against that kinda thing.

I whole heartedly agree there and I have learned the hard way to be cautious about the personal details I put out.
Though I do have a mild "social media personality / influencer / spaces host" gig over on Twitter but even there I dont use my real name although its a tad bit more personally identifiable but I have nothing to hide. I'm not so paranoid nor am I antagonistic enough towards others online for my real world safety to become jeopardized over something that transpired online. Although, been there, done that,
I've become more forward facing though which I guess is a big transition and an evolving of sorts that has unfolded since we last spoke.
I have a few books and papers published but nothing major and nothing I want to shamelessly self promote here.
I didnt come back to the forum just to promote my material or creative works, I was just feeling a bit intellectually lonely and out of the fog I happened to catch a glimpse of fond memories of chatting on here.
Besides I have always loved your candor and insight and unparalleled wit.

Sweet, yeah just make sure whatever you post is original and can't be linked back to your real persona anywhere.
If you're sharing something you've already published, just change up the wording and summarize it, cuz I don't want you regretting that you posted something that could link back to who you are.
