I think that says it all.
I just noticed this whilst standing at my desk, looking down at my surge protector. I mean the emoji quality of the outlet is just... unmistakable.
I've noticed this before but never thought much about it.
We did go with Tesla.
Edison wanted direct current. Our mains are alternating current.
I kinda think that Tesla's vision of the future, like with the whole rod thing on everybody's houses and cars and the whole ionosphere thingy might have had unintended negative health consequences.
I think these electrified houses and all the wiring all around us probably has really bad consequences too... hard to say which is ultimately worse.
There's a Twitter account called "Why the fuck does this look like a face?" I'd guess they posted an electrical outlet at some point.
I mean there MUST be health consequences. There's no way there isn't, we just can't see the pollution from all the electricity. If we could... hmm. I dunno, I kinda think we'd be so freaked out we'd prolly unplug everything and call the electrical company and cancel.
Maybe I'm wrong though... people do things they know are bad for them all the time. People drink excessive alcohol even though they know it's killing them. Maybe nothing would change.

I know I've even heard it mentioned before... it's definitely a known thing, it's already a meme or a joke but for some reason, today it just stood out to me WAAAY more than ever before. It really seemed like something I was supposed to notice.
