I took a little break from social media for a while. An occasional stop in on FB and every now and again I slipped in here. You didnt seem to be online when I was here so I just quietly passed through. You will always be Trixie to me. Even if you have purged the personna from the web. lol And of course "........" :) Always in my heart and mind!

I get confused when people tell me they're still addicted to FB...

I've even had 'woke' people tell me this.

I ambled over to Gab to talk to a guy who has big dreams of creating a new centralized social media platform. I was hoping to persuade him to consider the benefits of a distributed decentralized platform, but he won't. People just can't let go of the idea of building an online utopia governed by elaborate algorithms. I guess they'll have to learn the hard way.
