Teehee!!!

I'm on a date with myself!!!

I love me!!!

Nanaluv
i would love to be sitting beside you feeling your body while you enjoy the show
So halfway through previews, these two guys walk in...

They almost sat down in front of me, but then they moved on down and sat in the middle a few rows down.

They seemed kinda freaked out by me.

The movie starts and out of the corner of my eye, I see the one guy put his arm around the other dude. I'm like WTF.

A few minutes later I look again and the one guy's resting his head on the other dude's chest.

At this point I'm like awww shit!!!

I wonder what's gonna be more more entertaining, the movie or these two!?

It was just me and two gay dudes the entire time.

Except like every 30 minutes, this hot as fuck short little employee dude would come in with a blue glow stick and check the exits.

I could tell the gay dudes thought he was pretty hot too.

It was awkward... the last time he came in he just stood in the aisle, waved the light and then turned around and left.

AJ has a good breakdown
It was a decent movie...

Not near as good as Prometheus.

These sequels get more and more watered down every time.

I just gotta be honest, I think hollywood movies are dumb as shit.

These days it's ALL about the sequel, to the point where nothing is really a complete story even when you include the sequels.

It's just a bunch of shit.

The best part of the movie was when the Captain guy was shining the laser at David and he goes "I met the devil when I was a kid" or some shit. I'm like, "WORRRRD."

Cool action scenes or whatever, but yeah...

Just a bunch of typical hollywood tripe. Nothing really that remarkable about it.

I don't know who would really be that excited to see the next one. I could understand having some interest in a Prometheus sequel, but after seeing this I just... really couldn't give a fuck about whatever they do next.

Michael Fassbender/David/Walter isn't really a great villain... I mean it's nothing personal about him, it's just like really? That's what is holding this shit together now? This freakin' robot dude who wants to do the evil thing?

Oookay.

I don't know who would really even be into the Alien style monsters anymore at this point. It's so hella played out. I wanna see some new kinda alien... these aliens are not even intriguing. Predator was way more intriguing than that, and still not even that interesting.

It's just meh.

Spoiler alert... *rolls eyes*

So I mean basically now it's just this freaked out robot dude who's going around to various planets to carry on this virus thingy and kill the "meat" as he put it. Like...

Where's the fun in that?

I think in the next movie, they just need to have shit go horribly wrong for the David dude and kill that guy off and kill his stupid virus thing off.

It's just not even that interesting.

I know some people were super interested in the 'nanobot' and 'nanoparticle' aspect of things because there's some line of thought that nanobots are going to seed the earth and kill us all via various methods and whatnot. Even for the people interested in the nanobot aspect of things, it still wasn't even really that interesting.

I mean it's always fun to see a movie in the theater even if it's kinda crap. And this movie was okay. It wasn't crap. But if I'd seen it outside the theater, I would have been even less impressed. So it's like half as good as Prometheus was.

Prometheus had a fairly interesting parallel between what a lot of people assume is the origin of life on this planet and whatnot... it loosely had a message. Loosely. Barely something to hold onto in that regard. But it was there. With Covenant though, meh... the message was just watered down and definitely not profound or anything.

I would say the main message or analogy was basically that something created lifeforms, lifeforms start wondering who created them, then they start making other lifeforms in their image, and then they eventually die, leaving those created lifeforms to basically follow the same creative/destructive cycles and on and on it goes.

That's basically it.

Niiiiice! Thanks babe, watching now!
Prometheus was released in 2012?! Gawd! I can't believe it's been that long. LOL.

I have seen this video, but it'll be good to watch again since I just saw it.

Yeah man... Prometheus was so much better than Covenant. So much better.

Released on May 19... no wonder nobody was there!

LOL, I thought the end was dumb as a box of shit.

Spoilers.

The chick was standing on the freaking door, but like... on a ledge below it or something? Like it didn't even show WTF she was standing on, it just showed her from the chest up and then she goes "Give a girl a hand!" *facepalm* Yeah, a girl just saved everything. *slow clap* Good job there, beef curtains. Fucking feminazi agenda, so obnoxious, can't even handle it!!!

What the hell is Alex talking about with the humanoids? There weren't even any humanoids in this movie, just that stupid 'Alien' style alien bullshit. The humanoids were in Prometheus, not a single one in this movie.

Alex's breakdown of the movie is way more profound than the movie even attempted to be, LOL.
I gotta say though, the preview for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets looked pretty good.

It's got a pretty hot evil looking dude in it... just my type.

It's some weird high tech bubblegum looking colorful shit.

I kinda wanna see that.

I dunno about going to the theater again though.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle looked good too...

I definitely wouldn't see that in theater, it's a dude movie anyway.

The first one was pretty good.

I actually think that movie is kind of a good role model for younger dudes...

At least it shows them how to dress and actually be hot.
Dudes should wear suits and bitches should wear dresses. And skirts.

That would be a perfect world.

Let's do it.

i don't think cara delavigne can act worth a damn [though i'd rail the shit out of her] but holy fuck did they do an outstanding job with the color palettes and CGI work in Valerian.

must have been a high end theater with a hard ass manager for the usher to be checking exits and shit that often during a show. i'd like some of those blue wands here at my theater, though i'd just be using international signing to express my dismay at my staff's performance.
Yeah man it's a damn nice theater.

I wanted to 'rail' that door checker...

On a scale of 1-10, I can't help but wonder how freaked out a young dude like that would be if I went up to him and basically just said I wanted to fuck.

I wonder if he'd run.

And of course I thought about you during my theater experience, Genba. You and the thought of a theater go hand in hand in my mind and probably always will.

Re: Valerian, dude...

That shit looked BEAUTIFUL.

And you have nooo idea how much I hate to say that considering how much I detest hollywood. I dunno, I just have this hope inside that it might ACTUALLY be good. It's a stretch, but maybe... just maybe it will be.

I do want to see it. I'll just go ahead and admit I could even be excited about it.
How was the movie? I havent been to the movies in about two years. I use to download them for free because i hated paying for shitball actors overpriced lifestyles only to listen to them later give their moron opinions on how we should live and how their fuckhead opinions are what we should follow. I would rather kill myself then pay to see a movie. 99% of movies now are total garbage but on the rare occation that a movie is good then i do my best to see it for free.
I saw covenant and was not impressed ,loved the opening scene first 10 minutes but then i realized they hired a bunch of mediocre supporting actors and basically rehashed the old script ...pretty sad for a $90 million budget
For some reason i missed your movie review^^^. It didnt come up on my screen till after my comment. But i see it now. Guess i wont be in a rush to watch it.

NINETY FUCKIN' MILLION DOLLARS?!?!?!?!?

That's one costly disinfo propaganda film right there.

I CANNOT believe how much they spend on these bullshit movies.

This video touches a little bit on the true purpose of hollywood...

The movies are basically 'magic spells'...

They put out movies about war and colonizing outer space, etc. so they can get it into the consciousness and have everyone collectively focus on it and envision it and believe in it.

Not only does it give fuel to their plans, but it also keeps people pacified and totally programmed.

Still though, I remember when movies used to ACTUALLY BE GOOD. And profound. It's just been going down the tubes really fast.

Now that the Chinese have bought out hollywood, it's just going to go totally over the cliff to the point where even sheeple are going to think it sucks.

Entertainment is in the people's hands now... the future is the people's. I've made other threads about that though.
i've been spoiled by having the ability to watch movies at my leisure after hours. evil dead in a totally dark and empty theater at 3 am was amazing.

i don't understand what the draw is to go to a busy theater full of jerks making noise. home theater systems are nearly as good as actual theater systems but without all the downfalls of the public. the ability to pause or rewind to analyze is too good.
Yeah Genba and for me personally...

I like to have a window open to post about WTF I'm watching as I'm watching it.

If I could have, I would have posted constantly whilst watching the film, I would have been sharing every single thought about it.

To me, that's a really important part of the experience. Typing on a phone is too hard to try that anyways. But here from the comfort of my desktop, I can go on and on for hours.
