And if it's not an ocean, then there clearly was one there at some time and it must have evaporated very quickly to leave such a 'stain'.

Ahhh pretty blonde lady in aisle 5  , snap out of it !  You must have been hallucinating again trix  ,  if that is a beach on mars  then  maybe santa is real too , hell maybe the smurfs are living next door , maybe our votes do count  .  

My opinion is that we don't even have rovers on mars and those pics are taken in morocco  sahara desert and chile  atacama desert  , NASA batboys admitted a couple years ago they can't even get  spacecraft safely through radiation belts .

Oh they have off the cuff admitted water and life was there on mars in large amounts they won't come out and say mars but they tell you hidden in geology and life sciences based on earth! As of late they have dripping the known information as new discoveries
