"Business owner, president and founder. College grad, Berkeley University of California. Community leader. And then I woke up... backpacker, full-time RVer. Welcome to Carolyn's RV life!"

Some kind of breaking point wherein one realizes being a cog in the wheel and a slave to the system is eating away at their time, their soul, and their actual purpose for being alive in this world.
Cool video!

My husband and I have been contemplating getting a fifth wheel.
He works from home so it doesn't matter where we are or go.
Still talking over the pros and cons. lol

That lake tho she was swimming in looked cool.
Brave lady getting in there with the alligators! Eeek!
The biggest problem with getting an RV is that there are restrictions on where you can park with it. Gas mileage is another drawback. RVs are classified as motorhomes thus the insurance etc. reflects this classification, whereas with vans you don't have to worry about that. And one thing you never do is tell your insurance company that you have outfitted a van for living... they may drop you entirely.

This is a good article that details the pros and cons: http://brod-trip.com/rv-life-vs-vanlife/

Vans can be outfitted with great accommodations if you're willing to take the time. So many how-to videos out there these days.

The idea of traveling is to not be in your vehicle. A camper encourages you to stay inside more than a van would. When it comes to traveling, the vehicle is only for sleeping and transport. The rest of the time should be spent outside of it.

Yeah, she's pretty cool.

I'm a lot like her too, and I live in a travel trailer. The only real differences are that my trailer doesn't move, I don't have any money and I'm still a peon and a cog in ass of the machine of society in a giant city. Other than that, we're doing the same thing really.
her debut video , such a nice companion capone is

Wow. I really like her. I also love Capone and it's so great t watch him look at her almost the whole time as she's talking. That woman figured it out and she's living a life that I envy her for.
Its like these travelling camper people are becoming a huge group  of society dropouts ,economic vigilante's , non consuming , non tax paying rebels  and will one day  form a tribe and  live in a  wilderness region  much  like the kurds  in iraq , no country will want them and they will be hunted for non compliance .

3:45 Bitch is talkin' shit about the Rainbow Gathering people!!!

Sure has been a lot of random mention of the Rainbow Gathering lately...

Wonder what's up with that.
For some reason I just see Florida as the serial killer haven. I mean, no offense... I used to live in Florida. But I'm just saying, I bet it has the highest concentration of serial killers of any state in our great nation.

LOL people in the comments section of that video are like "Watch out walking by the water, alligators will eat your dog!" ROFL wouldn't that be terrible. The dog just gets chomped and gobbled up by an alligator. LOL... that shit is sad.

I love dogs, but I feel bad for them. They're just too nice.

I think I may have been there for some time. Not sure what that means for my future. I would rather be in a small dirt floor cabin in the woods than on the road all the time though. Too many people on the road and RV parks are like sardine cans with people packed in knocking elbows.
You can get out of any rut, it's all about determination... inspiration, motivation. These things can't be faked.

I agree re: RV parks, I've never stayed in one but I'm sure it sucks. Traveling is a lot of fun, but you basically always hear from frequent roadtrippers that they get tired of wandering around.

I had a 7000 mile road trip by myself last year and it was pretty rad, but circa 2 weeks, I started to feel vulnerable. I think it is natural to wanna settle down.

Re: a dirt floor cabin, it's been a wet dream of mine for years. I call my fantasy cabin "The Pickle Shack". I said I would live there and have a storage area full of pickles, and that's all I would eat. I'd make a sign to hang out front that says Pickle Shack.
This is natural desire within people who see things a certain way and have come to certain conclusions... obviously.
It's along the same lines as Cindy Currier and her tendency to claim entire islands for herself...

I mean yeah, she's certifiably insane, but still. It's a natural inclination, this is the way people really think.

Once you break down the programming, this is what is at the core. A desire, an overwhelming need to claim, dominate, attain. It's the natural drive and focus. The biggest force wins. Cindy may not have her island. But if there were a 100 million strong army of Cindys... she'd have all the islands she wanted.
LOL...

She is kinda naive about giving particulars ,lol , oh well live and learn . Face to face nobody will treat another like they do randomly over the internet and over the phone , she should have known that .

idk , she buys a 1992 camper and then is shocked at all the problems , thats kinda dumb ... i like her but yeah . My first thought if i go and buy some type of small camper is gonna be gas mileage and then it will be age of vehicle , most likely no older than 5 years .
