I have heard SEVERAL people randomly mention sensory deprivation tanks or some other crap like that, IN THE PAST WEEK.

I think it's weird and stupid.

What the hell is natural about 'sensory deprivation'? Nothing.

How do you get 'sensory deprivation' in nature? Go in a freaking cave.

Fuck all this unnatural shit people are being exposed to. Humans are idiots.

Just like the capsules from the Matrix where the people were stored in hibernation.

I guess the more crowded our planet gets with people , the more we crave complete silence ... I know i do .  Plus i enjoy being around non humans very much  because they tend not to be mental cases full of anxiety like many are today because  of overcrowding i think .

It's heaven and hell.

a cave is nothing compared to a proper sensory deprivation chamber.

they are legit devices to help one have an inner journey and psychadelic experience without the use of chemicals. the salt water provides perfect buoyancy such as to completely negate the sense of gravity. sound and light are also blocked out. this forces the conscious mind to listen to the more subtle inner forces. i have wanted to try it out for a while, but local options are less than ideal.
