I guess the answer would obviously be yes...
Yes we are too accepting of rainbow colored hair and weird modes of dress.
But I just watched this YouTube video for like 7 minutes before I realized this middle aged chick had two different hair colors, blue and purple.
I realized it and I was like, "WTF? How did I not notice that sooner?"
And then I started thinking damn... programmed much? I don't like this programming seeping in and trying to change my acceptance/perception of these kind of differences.
Blue/purple hair is unnatural and I think it's a bad sign when we don't immediately notice a lack of natural features or a difference like this.
