They almost always completely ruin the song.

I can think of a mere handful of successful dance music songs which have lyrics.

Electronic music is far better suited to sampled vocal clips if anything. One liners. Used sparingly.

Anything else just tends to be whiny, melodramatic, and totally obnoxious.

If it isn’t fun and hardcore with basically no lyrics then there’s a 98.99999% chance it’s banal dogshit.
