No I saw him in public, the first time in an arcade in the mall. Then I saw him again, I think like twice more, at random stores.
I was curious about who the hell he was because these encounters were so improbable... so I stalked him down on MySpace without knowing anything besides what he looked like.
We never actually talked.
I was like 15 and he was probably 20 or so. Pretty big gap there in age, it wouldn't have worked anyway.
It was easy to track down total random strangers after seeing them in public with MySpace because the search parameters were so specific.
Stalking always has been and always will be the only relevant use for social media in any capacity.
