i've been in this mindset too long, especially after having to greet/farewell customers. even before i came to the realizations of what we are and how this realm works, i've always been more of a glance and a nod type of guy. i'm sure my staff think i'm a weirdo cus i never initiate hellos or goodbyes, but i do reciprocate. i've explained this to a few that have ears to hear it, but they still end up with that blown mind face reaction.

I think it's important to remember in 'goodbyes' that take place involving more permanent situations too.
Whether people are exiting our lives for reasons of differences, or death...
There's no reason to be sad about it.
We're the same, at the end of the day...
If you miss somebody, just hug yourself.
We're all one and it's all inside us...
The great illusion is that it's "out there".
