Was I really that memorable? I should look at my post history because I don't remember much of what I said.

If I had a dime for every time I've had to ask myself that question...
I think you're memorable. Or at least your message board isn't full of OCD assburger retards like some of the other ones I've visited lately. LOL
It's a nice and protected ecosystem. I try...

Cheers2
I've been thinking about setting up a blog or wiki-style thing on my site. Something that isn't too heavy on features. Simple and to the point. Know of any good programs like that?
Nope... I don't do the non-forum thingies.

Wordpress is the only other thing I'd recommend to people.

The wiki style sites are fine but meh... I don't find the interface to be very intuitive.
That's what I mean. I would want to do something similar, but more user friendly.
If I was good at making websites out of scratch, I'd totally be doing that.

I like 1998 style sites.

I'd make them all day and night but it's too time consuming.
What do you have better to do? Find some online tutorials and get busy.

LOL, post on my already existing website.
I'm going to try this one first.

If I don't like it, I found a couple more to check out.

You're not going to get good at making 1998 style websites if that's all you do. LOL

Seems less ugly than your traditional wiki style site.

So what the fuck is your site gonna be about anyway?
I'm downloading everything on my site onto a USB hard drive. It'll take a long time, but I want to delete everything on the server and start with a clean site.
I made a wiki once trying to explain existence.

Then I got overwhelmed.

It's best to quantify these things.

Mostly how-to articles about things I've picked up here and there that maybe 5 people on earth would care about. LOL

It's best to start with something you actually know the answers to. Tongue

Yeah I've noticed you can write one hell of an article...

I don't believe in the whole 'deletion and destruction' of websites thingy.

It's typically a very sad ordeal that really need never happen.

I guess it's to each his own when it comes to personal websites.

It was never a coherent website to begin with. Most of it wasn't in public view. It was more like a private cloud storage so I'd have all my junk if my hard drive ever crashed. I have enough USB drives now to preserve it all until the end of time.
Well, that's good...

I do think it's best to share with the world though.
