To be clear, I don't entirely blame Millennials for their plight. They got an even shittier deal than us Gen Xers in some ways.

I don't feel any sympathy for Boomers who are having their wealth "syphoned off" by their stay-at-home kids and grandkids. They hoarded as much wealth as they could for themselves, then tuned off the faucet. Their parents, the WWII generation, sacrificed until it hurt to hand them a wealth of opportunities on a silver platter. Boomers' delusions to the contrary, they didn't "pull themselves up by their bootstraps." In the 1960s and 70s., they could literally walk into a company and get a lifelong job with a big fat pension upon retiring.

Not so for Gen X and the Millennials. The Boomers shipped America's entire industrial base off to communist China, Mexico, and other third world shitholes. They signed trade agreements that give those third world shitholes an unfair competitive advantage over their own fucking offspring. The few (relatively) decent-paying jobs left in America are going to H1Bs from India and elsewhere for a lower salary than Americans need to enjoy the good life the Boomers had. There is no such thing as job security anymore. A lot of Millennials have to scrap for one temporary "gig" after another to stay afloat. A few succeed at creating their own gigs by making YouTube videos or whatever, but not everyone has the talent for show biz. The Boomers' sanctimonious horseshit about it being your own fault if you can't find a job doesn't wash. The decrepit old hypocrites really need to do the honorable thing and just fucking die at a reasonable age so future generations can have a crack at the pie.

well said , i feel the same rage toward boomers ... it really sucks not to have any pension and have insurmountable debt piled on our fucking heads forever , FUCK !

but i don't know maybe they were just pawns in the game too , we all know its just a tiny group at the top calling all the shots
A lot of Boomers may be pawns like the rest of us, but the actual people at the top are in fact Boomers. Look at who has all of the money, runs all of the corporations, and holds most public offices. It sure as hell isn't the younger generations.
Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge anyone being successful. I'm just saying it's hypocritical of them to fuck us out of the same opportunities they had, then pretend there's no valid reason for us to not be as successful as they were.
