Some like Clif High believe there are going to be people in space (in orbit probably) doing some kind of work... he ties it into the crypto/digital currency replacing the current monetary system because the money will need to be digital in order to pay space-based personnel. Or some shit.

Although I do maintain that my unborn (and as yet not conceived) child will be a space traveler...

I will forever warn of the futility of attempting to colonize other planets/celestial bodies.

Mine asteroids? Good luck with that. We can't even clean up our space junk. Russia is going to make some space crafts that go into space and bash the space junk out of orbit which apparently will crash into the sea. Russia has a really bad history with things crashing. So expect it to crash through your roof. No wonder the aliens hate us we are galactic compulsive litterers.
