All 3D printers do is create a bunch of plastic waste that's gonna end up in the oceans and at dumps where animals will eat it and starve to death with their bellies full of plastic.

until cannabis and hemp are fully legalized, allowing us to 3d print biodegradable bioplastics for trinkets and minor tools.

i grew up on LEGO. i had a lot of fun with it, i still play with blocks today but now it's done in 3d sandbox video games. you could 3d print custom LEGO pieces and build anything.

eventually the tech will mature and it won't just be plastic, it will be alloys and polymers all of which will be able to be recycled back into 3d printers.

then, we can start applying cymatics and harmonic resonance in 3d printing to create perfect atomic geometry drastically increasing the quality of the build.

That makes me cringe, thinking about the fish who have plastic lining their stomachs. Yuck. It´s horrible.

These 3D printers are good for 2 things imo:

1. The ISS can make some parts they need, and they´re working on being able to recycle the plastic from parts they no longer use.

2. Making prosthetics in poor countries.
