I want to see some crazy shit that lights up the whole sky for like 6 months.

It’d be cool to travel the world and take pics everywhere with the sky lit up from a nova.

I’ve always wanted to see Betelgeuse explode.

Yeah I´m excited about this too. Although I had completely forgotten about this event though I know I read about it and thought "this is so effing cool!"... lol

Hoping it will be brighter than expected :) Need something spectacular like Hale Bop again, or better! :D

This happened last August -- 100 million years ago, actually -- but the light flash only lasted a few seconds.
